How to Play
A plain block of color appears on screen, and you pick its correct name from four answer choices below it. There are 8 different colors in rotation (including easily-confused pairs like pink and orange, or purple and blue), and each round shows one correct option alongside three shuffled decoys.
The game runs for 8 rounds total, one per color. Correct and incorrect answers are marked instantly with a green or red highlight on the button before moving to the next round, and your final score is the number of correct answers out of 8.
Tips
Colors with similar tones are the most common source of mistakes here, not colors that are wildly different from each other.
- Watch out for pairs that are easy to mix up on this board — pink versus orange, or purple versus blue, for instance — and give yourself a beat longer on those.
- Read all the answer choices before deciding, rather than tapping the first one that looks close enough.
- If you're stuck between two color names, compare the swatch to an everyday object whose color you know well (leaf green, sunset orange) to settle it.
- With only 8 rounds total, a single wrong answer has a noticeable impact on your final score — better to go slightly slower and be sure than fast and guessing.
